Persephone Earring & Necklace Set

Inspired by the Greek goddess Persephone, this set features intricately designed silver pomegranate earrings and a matching necklace. 

In Greek mythology, Persephone is the daughter of Demeter, the goddess of the harvest. She was abducted by Hades, the god of the underworld, to be his queen. During her time in the underworld, Persephone ate pomegranate seeds, which bound her to Hades. Because she consumed the pomegranate, she had to spend part of the year in the underworld and part with her mother on Earth. This myth explains the changing seasons: when Persephone is in the underworld, it's winter; when she returns, it's spring. The pomegranate symbolises life, death, and rebirth, linking her to these cycles.
